Villagers eye return to form

BARROWFORD aim to get back to winning ways in the Craven League First Division tomorrow – but face a stern Bull Holme test against title hopefuls Haworth Road Methodists.

The Villagers have slipped out of the top three in recent weeks and are down in sixth spot.

But they aim to finish well in their final five games – and a win tomorrow would damage the visitors’s title hopes.

Thornton’s revival has seen them move up the league to eighth spot and they host seventh-placed Bradley,w hile in Division Two Foulridge are top and look to enhance their position when they travel to Cononley.

Pendle Forest host rock-bottom Sandy Lane at Old Laund Booth, while in Division Three Barrrowford seconds are top and they travel to Haworth Road Methodists seconds.

And Chatburn look for a sixth win of the season when they go to Gargrave.
