Don't you think it pains me to have said i,t but after sixty years of support it is a truly desperate situation we are in and it calls for desperate measures.
For the very existance of our club we have got to rid ourselves of this cancerous growth. The only way to start to rebuild is to get rid of a manager who has proved time and time again that he is useless. A little pain at first will be worth it in the long run.

The saying "short term pain followed by long term gain" fits here I think, the chance of our sh!te manager losing 6 is more likely than him winning 6 so if some one offered me the chance to lose six and this moron leaves then so be it,

The way Rovers were structuring the deal was the right way...hardly any deals in football these days are straight forward and usually involve all kinds of clauses and conditions. In fact there was mention of a clause being put in Rhodes contract where he could leave Rovers at the end of this season for the same fee we paid for him if we did not get promoted back to the prem. So not unusual to say no to 6 million straight-up. Just hope the Rovers keep that same figure/sum in their minds when we go for our next target....cannot afford not to spend around 6 million to get a decent striker in. The whole season depends on this....no cheapos this time Rovers.

BRFC and that is what I care about would be doing well. If we lose the first six then you would hope Kean would be gone anyway. I just can't understand some fans wanting to lose the first six. I don't believe that anyone thinks it is ok to be lied to.....the posts are not saying that. All these posters are saying is that they want the Rovers to win as many games as possible next season, any season.

I certainly do and I think that all Rovers fans (or indeed any football fan) would want that for their team.

Kean out is another item entirely.....again I believe that almost every single Rovers fan would want him out ASAP. No conditions on 3 matches or 6 matches, get him out now.

And anyway why 6 matches? He lost a darn sight more than that last season and got us relegated from the golden goose called the prem.....so what makes anyone think he would go after 6 games this season?

And what would the result criteria be for the 6 games? Lose all 6 and he goes? Win all 6 and he gets a rise? Lose three draw three and he gets a warning? Lose two draw two win two and he gets a lollipop......yes it is farcical and a ridiculous suggestion to say he has 6 games....

If we do and sack Kean, and get someone in, there is no guarantee they will be able to change things. I therefore am looking at the season with some hope that we might finally start to sort this whole horrible mess out. With Kean or without.

At last a comment from someone with a realistic view of the situation. We need to be a lot less pessimistic, than most of the negative comments always on view here.

Thank god for commonsence at last. Win the first 6 games or lose the first six? If you are a BRFC fan then it surely must be win the first 6 games. If ( and I accept unlikely) we win the first six games we would be off to a flyer. At that point I couldn't care less if humpty dumpty is the manager. BRFC and that is what I care about would be doing well. If we lose the first six then you would hope Kean would be gone anyway. I just can't understand some fans wanting to lose the first six. I simply can't get it. Absolutely sure we are better off without you as fans. Bring the season on and let's see what happens. With or without Kean!!!!

Three people who seem to accept that its Ok to be lied to.

I don't believe that anyone thinks it is ok to be lied to.....the posts are not saying that. All these posters are saying is that they want the Rovers to win as many games as possible next season, any season.

I certainly do and I think that all Rovers fans (or indeed any football fan) would want that for their team.

Kean out is another item entirely.....again I believe that almost every single Rovers fan would want him out ASAP. No conditions on 3 matches or 6 matches, get him out now.

And anyway why 6 matches? He lost a darn sight more than that last season and got us relegated from the golden goose called the prem.....so what makes anyone think he would go after 6 games this season?

And what would the result criteria be for the 6 games? Lose all 6 and he goes? Win all 6 and he gets a rise? Lose three draw three and he gets a warning? Lose two draw two win two and he gets a lollipop......yes it is farcical and a ridiculous suggestion to say he has 6 games....

Rovers just need to play as well as possible and get as many points as quickly as possible. I hated relegation last season and I don't want to go back to the bad days of the seventies when we dropped down to the third (now second) division.

Kean out now - yes.
Rovers to win games - yes.
