another example of the 'good time' supporter.

Being a fan means supporting your team through thick and thin, good times and bad.

Look at all you skanks ditching your tickets at the first sign of relegation.

Shows you all what you are and don't even try and hide behind ' I'm only not renewing while Venkys are in charge' crap.

Moochers and looters the lot of ya!!!
Dont you dare pal, the people that dont renew their tickets are the REAL supporters.
We care about our club and for many of us this is the hardest decision we have ever had to make regarding BRFC."

Community volunteers to receive Blackburn Rovers tickets

TWO hundred tickets for Blackburn Rovers last home game of the season will be given to community volunteers.

The football club donated the tickets to Blackburn with Darwen Council so the local authority could thank people who have come forward as part of its Your Call campaign.

The Your Call campaign was launched by the council to encourage people and community groups in the area to volunteer their time to clean up their area or take action against domestic abuse or road safety for example.

Councillors made the plea after they were forced to make millions of pounds worth of savings when the council’s budget was slashed.

The match against Wigan is taking place on Monday May 7.

As well as the tickets, groups are also being rewarded with the chance to apply for cash grants of £200 for Jubilee celebrations.

The grants are made up of funds from the council and other public sector, community and business partners.

Blackburn with Darwen Council leader Kate Hollern said: "I value our relationship with Blackburn Rovers, it's so important that we work together for the benefit of our borough.

“I am delighted that they too recognise the efforts of all the people who have taken steps to make a difference to their community through the Your Call campaign.

“The 200 tickets will be shared out fairly between the groups who have come forward so far.

"One of the strengths of our borough is that our public services work closely together. It's great that we can all come together despite the tough financial times to thank people who are helping to make the borough a better place.
