The long-awaited Bird Cup final will take place at Colne FC’s XLCR Stadium on Thursday night (April 26).
A Padiham FC XI will play East Lancashire League side Rock Rovers in the final of the competition introduced after the Hospital Cup ended a few years ago.
The match should have taken place at the end of last season but was postponed and attempts to have played it since have repeatedly failed.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 7pm.
