THE Bolton-le-Moors Car Club Production Car Autotest at Charnock Richard was won by Blackburn’s Simon Robinson.

Robinson, who had already won the Knutsford New Year Production Car Autotest in 2012, took first place in his Peugeot 106 GTI ahead of Matthew Faulkner.

The event was held at the Camelot theme park.

Accrington’s Steve Johnson was sixth overall and first in class in the national B section of the autosolo competition at the same venue, while daughter Hazel was 14th overall.
