BURNLEY trail at half time in this afternoon’s Championship fixture at home to Peterborough United.

The visitors took the lead in the 12th minute when Paul Taylor dispossessed Ben Mee and surged clear before lashing past Lee Grant.

David Ball then struck the inside of the post for Peterborough after hesitancy between David Edgar and Michael Duff.

Ross Wallace and Charlie Austin both had efforts saved, but the Clarets have been far from their best form and George Boyd fired wide from a good position for Peterborough.
