* MEETING: The Lancashire Automobile Club is organising an ‘Evening With Norman Dewis’ on Thursday, March 29 at Whalley Golf Club.

In a career with Jaguar spanning 33 years, Dewis has developed and test driven cars ranging from the iconic C-Type to the modern day XJ range.

He has competed on the Mille Miglia, Le Mans 24 Hours and Goodwood Revival.

* AUTOTEST: Blackburn’s Simon Robinson was the winner of the Knutsford New Year Production Car Autotest.

The St Wilfrid’s Academy teenager, who previously claimed victory in the ANWCC championship during 2011, took first place in his Peugeot 106 GTI ahead of Jack Mather.

Accrington’s Steve Johnson was first in class and sixth overall in the national B section of the Knutsford Autosolo event.

* AUTOTEST: Entries are being welcome for the Under 17 Motor Club North West Clubmans Production Car Autotest at Blackburn Services on Saturday, February 18.

The CSMA Club NW Autotest will take place at the M65 service station a day later. More information is available at anwcc.org.

* RALLY: The 2012 Bulldog International Rally of North Wales will be held on March 23 and 24.

The rally will take place in Welshpool and will include five individual rallies. Further information is available at bulldog-rally.co.uk.

MEETING: The SD34 Motor Sport Group’s prize presentation night will take place at Blackburn Northern Sports Club on Friday, February 10 from 8pm.
