TEAM NEWS: Samba and Hoilett start

Steve Kean’s side will be hoping to put in a better performance than their mid-week crash from the Carling Cup as they see a number of key players return against Swansea.

Captain Chris Samba will rejoin the back-four after recovering from a troubling hamstring injury. However, both Salgado and Olsson remain sidelined as they also suffer hamstring problems.

Good news on the attacking front as Junior Hoilett starts today’s game after recovering from a virus.

Steven Nzonzi misses today’s fixture; serving his second of a three-match picked up after last weekend’s match at Stoke.

Paul Robinson also returns to the side after being rested midweek.

Rovers: Robinson, Lowe, Samba, Givet, Rochina, Hoilett, Pedersen, Dann, Formica, Yakubu.

Subs: Bunn, Henley, Hanley, Petrovic, Vukcevic, Roberts, Goodwillie.

Swansea: Vorm, Williams, Taylor, Britton, Sinclair, Dyer, Monk, Lita, Allen, Gower, Richards.

Subs: Dobbie, Routledge, Moore, Tremmel, Augusteine, Bessone, Morms.
