BLACKBURN Rovers fans got the early bragging rights by beating their Burnley rivals in a charity match.
The supporters’ clash at Wilson's playing fields in Clayton-le-Moors yesterday saw Blackburn win eight-five.
Organisers Clarets fan Marc Fretwell and Rovers fan Lee Pickering are work colleagues at the policy unit at County Hall, Preston.
The game raised £375 for Marie Curie Cancer Care in honour of Marc’s mother Janice, who is fighting ovarian cancer.
