YOUTH team players at Accrington Stanley are taking part in a workshop to save lives during National Road Safety Week.
John Frank from Southport-based Prontopass Driving School, has teamed up with road safety charity Brake to arrange the workshop on the dangers of driving for 30 players at Accrington Stanley Football Club during the week which started today.
The campaign uses hard-hitting DVDs and websites to get key messages on issues such as speed, alcohol and drugs, distractions and the consequences of crashes across to young drivers and passengers.
Mary Williams, chief executive of Brake, said: “I am really grateful to Accrington Stanley for giving me the opportunity to deliver the workshop to their youth team.”
