CHRIS Samba has played down speculation that he could leave Blackburn Rovers.
Manchester City, Everton and West Ham have all been linked with a move for the defender, while rumours have also surfaced connecting German clubs Borussia Dortmund and TSG Hoffenheim with a bid.
But both Rovers and the player’s agent, Leon Lambert, have told the Lancashire Telegraph that they are currently unaware of any interest.
Samba said: "I am still at Blackburn so I can't comment.
"Whoever wants me will need to talk to Blackburn Rovers and we will see.
"I have nothing to add. I am calm and waiting. I have had a great holiday."

i`d hardly call those comments `playing down` a move. more like `come and get me please`. very disappointing having pulled him out of obscurity in a german reserve side.

Don't think he's coming to Man City due to him not being high profile enough for us. We are only usually associated with England and Brazilian Captains at the moment. Probably would be a big loss for you lot though!

At least Man United have mostly made their own wealth.
Us Rovers fans will take our memories of winning the premier league to our graves, you will never experience that. Something will eventually go wrong at City, it always does because you're a comedy club just like Newcastle.

ifihadthewingsofaneaI wonder if you'll still have that cocky attitude when you dont get out of the relegation zone all season and every team regards your lot as a joke club!... Down the Clarets!
