Reigning champions Accrington went down by seven wickets at Burnley in the Lancashire League on Saturday.
Burnley wicket-keeper Chris Burton claimed five victims and a well-earned collection as Accringon posted 172-9.
Burton then made 39 not out as Burnley passed their revised 131 target.
