Blackburn Rovers await Grella clearance

AUSTRALIAN midfielder Vince Grella could make his Blackburn Rovers debut at West Ham United at the weekend, providing the club receive international clearance in time following his move from Torino.
“We're still waiting for his international clearance to come through from Italy,” Paul Ince said.
“I'm not sure on the timescale on that but hopefully we'll get it done before Friday so he can travel with us on Friday afternoon fingers crossed.
“He'll certainly be coming as part of the squad but if we do get his clearance through he'll definitely be involved somewhere down the line.”

Certainly do hope Grella gets his international clearance this week. West Ham seem to have something over us and I think Grella making his debut, with the added impetus that gives a player, would really make a difference. Cheers Makoena, but I think Grella will prove to be one of the best of the less headline-making signings of the Premiership this season. Now, a good, pacey right winger and it will be just what the Doctor ordered. I just hope Ince focuses more on the Hull game than he does the Everton game and signs a right-winger who can get at the opposition. Otherwise, I worry that the gap to the January transfer window will prove to be a long and depressing wait.
