Blackburn Rovers release three players

BLACKBURN Rovers manager Mark Hughes has released Peter Enckelman, Stephane Henchoz and Bruno Berner as he begins his plans for next season.
It comes as a double blow over the weekend for goalkeeper Enckelman, whose first-half blunder in Saturday's FA Cup final gifted Portsmouth victory over Cardiff.
The Finn had been on loan at the Championship side since January in a bid to earn regular first-team action.
Since joining Rovers from Aston Villa in January 2004, he had made just two Premier League appearances.
Defender Henchoz, who signed for Rovers two summers ago, failed to make a single appearance this season.
Former Swiss international Berner, meanwhile, made four appearances this term.

CUP BLUNDER: Cardiff goalkeeper Peter Enckelman who was on loan from Blackburn spilled the cross that led to Kanu scoring Portsmouth's FA Cup final winner on Saturday. Enckelman is among those released by Rovers.
