Rovers will travel to Hull City in a new-look coach tomorrow, part of the ‘marginal gains’ Tony Mowbray is looking to introduce at the club.

Brockhall has undergone work over the summer which has seen new artwork introduced throughout the corridors featuring pictures of last season’s promotion winning season.

The players have Rovers branded jackets to take to the field in for every match, while Mowbray has also discussed the possibility of introducing club suits.

The latest initiative sees Rovers upgrade their coach to the Irizar i8 Integral in a continuation of the partnership with Coach Options who the club have used for the last 37 years.

Mowbray was involved in the selection of the vehicle which includes 37 seats and is said to ‘maximise leg room and passenger comfort’.

The coach allows includes two microwaves, large refrigerator drawers and a Nespresso drinks machine, as well as 14 TV monitors with Sky and wi-fi.

Gareth Williams, Operations Manager of Coach Options, said: “The other top class coach that they had was coming to the end of its term and the manager wanted an upgrade with more space, so we've built and delivered this state-of-the-art, hi-tech and unbelievable spec coach especially for Blackburn Rovers.

“Coach travel is so important for football teams - they can't go without it - so it's so important that they are comfortable and have everything that they need.”
