SEAN Dyche didn't rule out new additions to his Clarets squad on deadline day, but what can we expect from Burnley today?

It's already been a busy week at Turf Moor, with Ben Gibson, Joe Hart and Matej Vydra signing.

As Dyche admits, bringing anyone else in is complicated by the fact the Clarets are in Turkey on deadline day preparing to face Istanbul Basaksehir in the Europa League third qualifying round.

"This compromises it slightly. It’s an interesting day to have a game, but you never know," he said on Wednesday night of the possibility of making any more signings.

Dyche retains an interest in bringing Jay Rodriguez back to Turf Moor from West Brom, but it's a deal that has been difficult to strike all summer.

Rodriguez is understood to be keen to return home but the Clarets have been somewhat put off by the Baggies' valuation of the striker.

There has been speculation this week that Sam Vokes could head in the opposite direction, but that would mean the Wales striker would have to fly back home today and with Chris Wood absent and Nahki Wells heading out on loan it would leave Dyche with just Ashley Barnes and Jon Walters as attacking options tonight.

Burnley have also been linked with Everton winger Yannick Bolasie this week. While it is understood there is some interest there, personal terms are likely to prove a stumbling block as things stand.

With just three senior wingers in the squad and Robbie Brady still on the comeback trail Dyche has been keen to strengthen out wide and that will remain a position of interest today, with the window shutting at 5pm.
