Rovers have announced the kick-off time for Saturday’s friendly at Port Vale has been changed so to not clash England’s final World Cup game.
The game at Vale Park has been brought forward to 12.30pm from the previous scheduled time of 3pm.
Rovers say ‘both clubs have agreed’ to the change so to not clash with England’s World Cup third-placed play-off with Belgium.
Gareth Southgate’s side, knocked out in the semi-final by Croatia on Wednesday night, will be in action at 3pm in St Petersburg.
A statement released on Port Vale’s website read: “Due to the national teams involvement in the World Cup on Saturday, the club have taken the decision to bring forward the kick off time against Blackburn Rovers to 12:30 on Saturday.”
