BURNLEY have been given 2,030 tickets for the Europa League second qualifying round first leg clash at Aberdeen.

The Clarets make their long-awaited return to European competition at Pittodrie on Thursday, July 26, after a 51-year absence.

But just over 2,000 Clarets will be able to be in attendance following the allocation of tickets, which are priced at £26 for adults, £19 for over 65s and £10 for under-18s.

The return leg will take place at Turf Moor on Thursday, August 2 and both games are provisionally due to kick-off at 7.45pm.

Ticket prices for the return leg are £25 for adults, £15 for over 65s and under-22s and £10 for under-18s.

A club spokesman said: "Burnley Football Club has met with the Supporters Alliance and discussed at length the rules, regulations and obligations to comply with UEFA rules and regulations.

"The club will now continue discussions with Aberdeen regarding distribution of tickets, priority sales periods, supporter travel packages, and on-sale dates.

"Full details will be released early next week."
