TWO of the last three winners of the Lancashire League T20 competition face off at Turf Moor tonight as Clitheroe travel to Burnley.

Both sides still have a 100 per cent record in the JWL Founders group but one of them will lose their perfect start tonight.

Clitheroe won the competition last year in a dream debut in the Lancashire League and they’ve started this campaign in similar fashion, enjoying a comfortable 34 run win over Rishton last weekend.

But it’s Burnley who sit top of the group on net run rate and they enjoyed a 47 run win over Colne last weekend.

Elsewhere in that group Colne will be looking their first win as they host Accrington, while East Lancashire, who are also without success so far, travel to Blackburn Road to take on Rishton.

In the JWL Bitter group table toppers Darwen will look to maintain their fine form, having piled up 198-5 in beating Great Harwood a week ago thanks to Chris Wade’s unbeaten 53, as they travel to Dill Hall Lane to face Enfield.

Great Harwood, who suffered a 64 run defeat at Darwen last week, are still looking for their first win and they welcome Lowerhouse, while Nelson, who are currently bottom, face Church at Seedhill, with the visitors enjoying a 100 per cent record so far.

In the JWL Manchester Craft group Todmorden are the only side with a perfect record and they will seek to maintain that at a Rochdale side who have one win and one no result so far.

Milnrow will look to end their winless start as they travel to Crompton, while Littleborough, who sit bottom, are hosting Walsden.

Ramsbottom are the only team with a perfect record in the JWL MPA league and they will look to continue that with a trip to Norden. Elsewhere Bacup and Haslingden face each other at Lanehead while Rawtenstall and Middleton meet.
