OUR Clarets jury discuss all the big issues at Turf Moor every week. This week we ask how excited they are by the thought of European football for Burnley next season.

MATT RIGGS

Really excited. It will be the first time I've ever seen us play in a European competition and something as young boy watching us in the old Four Division I never thought I'd see.

Hopefully the qualifiers will be kind to us and we can progress to participate in the actual tournament. I suppose the reality is to continue to maintain our Premier League status but we should enjoy this, too.

ANDREW GREENWOOD

Very! It’ll be an amazing achievement and it’s why we support a football team, to finish as high as possible and be successful.

I think some people imagine us playing in Madrid or Rome whereas in reality it could well be against a village in Lichtenstein.

I think wherever we are it’ll create great interest and I’m sure fans will travel whether they have a match ticket or not. It would be great to get into the group stages against some of the more glamorous teams and have a repeat of those famous Turf European nights!

AMER STANSFIELD-MUSHTAQ

I don’t think it has sunk in as yet and it probably won’t until that first game in July.

I think it will be difficult and in that qualifying draw, this group of players and the manager may be the least experienced group in the Europa League.

I just hope the club and players give a good account of themselves on our European tour for all Europe to see and hopefully as the team has done all season in the Premier League we can surprise a few people along the journey.

The prospect of causing yet more upsets does excite me.
