Danny Graham believes the extra preparation time for the trip to Doncaster has ‘come in handy’.

Rovers have experienced plenty of travelling this month, with the Keepmoat Stadium visit their fifth away game of April.

The fixture list included trips to Gillingham and Bristol Rovers but, having played on Thursday against Peterborough last week, Rovers had last weekend off.

And Graham said: “It does come in handy. We’ve done a lot of travelling, Gillingham and Bristol were long trips.

“Three more big efforts and hopefully we get to where we want to be.

“We’re delighted for the fans, it was a difficult year last year, we didn’t start the season well but they have stuck behind us and we want to repay them and get this promotion.”

Graham, with 17 goals this season, was last week named in the PFA League One team of the year. along with Charlie Mulgrew, Amari’i Bell and Bradley Dack.

“I was delighted,” the striker said. “We had four in that squad which shows how well we’ve done over the course of the season.

“Every game I go in to I try and give someone a difficult game no matter who it is.

“Some days I might be on it, others I might have an off day, but it’s great to get in the team.”
