BRADLEY Dack’s man of the match showing came as no surprise to Rovers boss Tony Mowbray.

But he was keen not to lavish too much praise on the 24-year-old knowing plenty of hard work lies ahead for Rovers.

Dack came up with a piece of individual magic for Rovers’ opener, scored by Danny Graham, and caught the eye after the break with a fine showing.

The attacker has 12 goals to his name and Rovers tend to be at their best when Dack is on form.

And Mowbray said: “We’ve come to expect it from Bradley, he’s being doing it all year for us once he acclimatised to the group and he showed what a talent he is.

“He has to keep it going and see if he can play his part in the final 13 games and see how many wins we can get.

“I don’t want to stand here and build up one player too much.”

Jack Payne was left out of the starting line-up by Mowbray but showed his qualities, while Graham netted his 13th of the season before Adam Armstrong came up with his fourth in three games.

And Mowbray said: “I thought Jack Payne was ‘amazing’ and he must be sitting here there thinking ‘how do I get in the team?’. I do when I see what he can do with the football and how he can keep us going forward, link the play, we’ve got some good players and Bradley isn’t the only one.

“Danny Graham with nine goals in his last 10 home games is amazing, Armstrong has settled in, Amari’i was good.

“Jack come off the bench and made a big difference.

“We’re ticking along, doing okay and delighted with the players.”
