Reece Davies took 4-17 for Darwen while Dave Bowden claimed 2-22.
Lancashire's Alex Davies top scored for the Towers in reply as he hit 37 off 34 balls and shared in key stands with opener Ammer Mirza (33) and professional Calvin Savage (32) as the hosts reached their target with more than two overs to spare. Grant took 2-19 for Nelson.
