A round-up of transfer rumours involving Burnley from around the web

HAVING been linked with a move for Hull City left-back Andrew Robertson last week the Clarets are now apparently in pole position to land another left-back in the shape of Leeds' Charlie Taylor.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at Elland Road and appears to have his heart set on an exit this summer, but as he is under 24 he would command a fee.

West Brom were reportedly close to signing Taylor but the Express and Star have now reported that they have cooled their interest to focus on other areas of the squad, potentially paving the way for a move to Turf Moor.

Having been linked with a move for Taylor last summer the Clarets are now 1/4 favourites to sign him during this transfer window.

MARC Roberts is a name increasingly familiar to Burnley fans after links emerged with the Barnsley centre back in January.

Burnley were linked with a move for the 26-year-old throughout that transfer window, but the speculation was wide of the mark at the time.

Lancashire Telegraph:

Now The Sun are reporting that the Clarets might be keen to try and bring the Tykes defender to Turf Moor this summer, but they will have to move fast if they wish to do so, with Birmingham City edging closer to a deal for Roberts.

MORE on Michael Keane now, with the Liverpool Echo reporting that Everton are leading the race for the 24-year-old.

The Echo say that Keane has been Everton's prime defensive target throughout the summer and they are now back into pole position to land the Burnley centre back as Manchester United's interest cooled following their signing of Victor Lindelof.

Lancashire Telegraph:

The Toffees have been splashing the cash over the last week with over £55million spent on Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Ajax midfielder Davy Klaasen, and it could take another £25million to convince the Clarets to do business over Keane.

IF Keane does leave Turf Moor this summer then Burnley will need to turn their attentions to a replacement. Could that come in the form of Celtic's Jozo Simunovic?

The Daily Mail has listed the Clarets as one of four admirers of the 22-year-old, who impressed at Celtic Park last season as the Bhoys won the domestic treble.

Simunovic is also reportedly a target for Newcastle United, Huddersfield Town and Spartak Moscow.

The Croatia Under-21 international is valued at £8million and is said to be keen on a Premier League move.
