BACUP Borough will bid to finish their Hallmark Security League Division One season with a victory when they host City of Liverpool tomorrow.

Brent Peters' side recorded a midweek 2-1 home win over Daisy Hill on Wednesday when late goals from Adrian Bellamy and Anthony Hall turned the game around after Ashley Story had put the visitors in front in the second half.

AFC Darwen are also targeting successive victories to finish the season when they travel to Runcorn Linnets tomorrow.

Adam Douglas' side are 19th in the table and won 3-2 at home to Irlam on Wednesday night when Keith Wedge hit an 87th minute winner.

Nick Hepple put the hosts in front before Daniel Green and Daniel Eyres edged Irlam into the lead. But Bobby Langford levelled 12 minutes from time before Wedge's late show.

Padiham were also in action on Wednesday but they were beaten 3-2 at struggling New Mills.

Alex Murphy and James Dean looked to have earned the Storks the win as they led 2-1 with eight minutes to go but the home side struck back with Callum Scott and Jake Pollard sealing a 3-2 win with late goals.

Steve Wilkes' side host Barnton tomorrow knowing a win could still see them earn a top six finish.

Elsewhere, Barnoldswick Town conclude their five game week with a home match against Winsford United.

Danny Craig's side were due to be in action last night at home to AFC Liverpool in their fourth match in six days.
