JOHANN Berg Gudmundsson is in contention for a return to the Burnley side when they travel to Arsenal on Sunday (2.15pm).
But Scott Arfield is set to miss out as he continues his comeback from a hamstring injury picked up on the same day as Gudmundsson, the FA Cup draw at Sunderland two weeks ago.
Dean Marney and Ashley Barnes missed the replay with the Black Cats on Tuesday, but both trained on Friday and are set to be fit to face the Gunners.
"We were unfortunate before the cup game to lose Ashley Barnes and Dean Marney," said Sean Dyche. "It was common sense, we had to pull them in the end, we thought they were going to be ok.
"Johann Berg Gudmundsson has made good progress, Scott Arfield is more touch and go. With Johann we’re hoping he’ll be back in contention.
"Barnes and Marney trained today (Friday), so we’re hoping it’s all good for them."
