Rovers have three fit strikers, and one coming back from injury, all pushing for two starting spots. So who should Owen Coyle name as his first-choice pairing? We asked our fans' jury who they would go for...

KELVIN WILKINS

WE are in the rare, fortunate position of having four strikers who offer something different and each of whom, fully fit, would get into most Championship sides. Having everyone fit is the first issue though.

For me, Marvin Emnes is an automatic inclusion with Sam Gallagher or Danny Graham alongside him. Even when the goals aren't flowing for Emnes, he harrasses opposition defences with his impressive work ethic and is positive in his play.

Likewise, Gallagher doesn't stop working yet, perhaps due to his age, has shown the greatest inconsistency. Against Rotherham, he was dominant, yet against Ipswich he couldn't get a touch and was outclassed.

Danny Graham has a lot of quality and could form a formidable strike force with Emnes, but for how long until injury kicks in?

Currently though it would take a lot to dislodge the current pairing - it's just concerning that they're not ours.

PAUL YATES

THE problem with Rovers' strikers is that none of them have cemented their place in the team, which due to inconsistency and partly due to lack of service from midfield. They have all flattered to deceive at times leaving fans hopeful then frustrated.

Danny Graham, a proven goalscorer, is struggling in comparison to his form last season.

Owen Coyle needs to build a partnership with his front two but injuries and loan issues will make this difficult.

I would persevere with Marvin Emnes and hope that Graham recovers from injury and recaptures his touch.

MARVIN Emnes and Sam Gallagher have to be the first choice strike partnership on current form.

The fans have really taken to both players and after a tricky few games without a goal, Gallagher showed what he is all about on Tuesday night. His commitment to the cause, combined with a natural goalscoring ability, makes the on-loan Southampton striker a certain starter.

Emnes, meanwhile, is a different class to the rest and can single-handedly win a game.

The more experienced pair of Danny Graham and Anthony Stokes have not done enough to warrant a place in the side, although injures have taken their toll. We have not seen much of Stokes, while Graham has been a shadow of the form he showed last campaign. On their day they can be deadly and I had expected them to be our main forwards this season.

When Emnes and Gallagher return to their parent clubs, Rovers could be left without a potent strikeforce. Graham and Stokes will have to step up in the second half of the season and show their worth.

FIRST I think that you have to look at the strikers we have: Stokes, Graham, Emnes and Gallagher.

Gallagher has five goals, Emnes three, Graham has two and Stokes has one in the league. So that says it all really.

But you also have to stick with what's working and at the moment Emnes and Gallagher have started every game that we’ve won this season.

We all know Graham can finish because of how he did last year, but every time I have seen Emnes and Gallagher together it's exciting. Emnes is a box of tricks, full of speed and can find the goal, while Gallagher is constantly working hard, runs at defenders with the ball and is a general pain for a defence.

Together, those to have played great and for me you don't have to look any further for who starts up front.

We know Graham can play, but when he’s fully fit will he slot into a team that will be used to the strikers constantly closing down defenders and making their own chances? Danny can at times be reliant on being fed the ball.

In January, if Emnes isn't signed, then he may have to fit in, but at the moment it has to be Gallagher and Emnes - no question.
