ROVERS have announced five fixtures changes for next season, including the mouthwatering home game against Leeds United.

The Whites were initially due to visit Ewood Park on Tuesday, January 31, for a 7.45pm kick-off.

But that clashes with Burnley’s home match against Premier League champions Leicester City, so will now take place a day later.

New Year’s Eve revellers will be pleased with the news that the December 31 trip to Huddersfield Town, originally down for a 3pm kick-off, has been brought forward to 12.30pm.

Rovers’ first ever trip to the Pirelli Stadium to face Burton Albion has been switched from Saturday, February 25, to Friday, February 24 (7.45pm kick-off), and the visit of Lancashire rivals Preston North End, on Saturday, March 18, was been brought forward to a 1pm kick-off on police advice.

The final change is for the away game at Nottingham Forest, which will also now take place on a Friday night.

It will be played at the City Ground on April 14 (Good Friday, 3pm kick-off) instead of 24 hours later.
