BLACKBURN Rovers have confirmed the signing of winger Liam Feeney on a free transfer.
Feeney, who was out of contract after leaving Bolton Wanderers, has penned a two-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.
The 29-year-old becomes new Rovers boss Owen Coyle’s fourth summer signing following the arrival of strikers Danny Graham and Anthony Stokes and left-back Stephen Hendrie.
It will be Feeney’s second spell at the club after spending the final two months of the 2013-14 season on loan at Ewood Park from Millwall.
"I feel good about it," said Feeney.
"I was here before on loan for a short spell, so it is good to finally be back permanently and I think it is going to be an exciting season for the club.
"Obviously I'd been here before and I knew about the stature of the club, the stadium, the training facilities and the fans’ support.
"Speaking to the manager and how positive he was, I thought nothing but good things about it, so it is an exciting time and something that I can be a part of.
"The way he spoke to me filled me with a lot of confidence and he outlined what he wants to do, so it should be really good. I'm just glad I can be a part of that and hopefully we can have a successful season."
