12 year old Burnley Bobcat swimmer Tobias Pilkington, who is a visually impaired swimmer, swam at the British Blind Sports, hosted at Tudor Grange Sports Centre, Solihull on Saturday, 16th April 2016 and came home with seven gold medals.

Toby swam exceptionally well and produced some great personal bests and winning all the events he entered, namely the 25m, 50m and 100m freestyle; 50m and 100m breaststroke and 25m butterfly.

Toby was also asked to take part in a relay team and were placed in first place.

Head Coach Noel Horton said “winning so many medals has given Toby so much confidence and he should be very proud of his achievement”.
