ANOTHER Blackburn Rovers Academy prospect has put pen to paper on a professional contract.
Centre-back Matthew Platt has signed a two-and-a-half year deal until the summer of 2018.

It is reward for the progress the 18-year-old has made after making 27 appearances for the club’s under-18 side last season.
Platt has scored two goals in two starts for the under-21s this season including the crucial equaliser in the 3-1 win over Burnley at Turf Moor in the Under-21 Premier League Cup.
He was also on target on Saturday when the under-18s drew 2-2 at Manchester City.
Fellow defender Scott Wharton, midfielder Willem Tomlinson and striker Lewis Mansell signed pro deals earlier on in the campaign.
