TWENTY-THREE years ago last Saturday magnificent Blackburn Rovers, inspired by Alan Shearer and Roy Wegerle, destroyed previous pacesetters Norwich 7-1 City in one of the great Ewood Park performances to move proudly top of the Premier League table.
