TWO martial arts instructors got a real kick after they were rewarded for their community work.
It capped a good few days for Senseis Jaf Ali and Billy Battrick who also saw their young fighters in winning action.
Jaf, who runs Ali School of Mixed Martial Arts in Accrington, guided Raheem Aragzaib and Moahammed Ali - both aged 12- to impressive victories.
Jaf, along with coach Ashley Ali, helped the youngsters win North West Interclub belts.
And there was even more success for Kelsey Battrick - daughter of Billy who runs Fit2Fight Kickboxing Club, also in Accrington, won the English title after a knockout performance in front of 300 spectators.
Jaf and Billy were presented with their awards by AMT Lawyers, based in Blackburn.
“We do a lot of work with local schools and it is great to get this award,” said Jaf.
