A NEW director has been appointed to lead Scotland's nursing college.
Theresa Fyffe, currently deputy chief nursing officer at the Scottish Executive, has been given the job of director for RCN Scotland.
As deputy CNO she was responsible for acute services, policy and strategy and other major issues.
RCN general secretary, Dr Peter Carter, said: "Theresa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the job."
