Bisping fights CB Dollaway in Montreal on April 25 as he looks to bounce back from the seventh loss of his career against Luke Rockhold in November.

The 36-year-old has been targeting a world middleweight title fight for a number of years but crucial defeats and injuries have so far seen that goal elude him.

Bisping, though, is not giving up and has also taken a swipe at those UFC fighters who have been found to have taken drugs in their attempts to become world champion.

“I’m still aspiring to be the world champion one day, and that will never stop,” Bisping said.

“I know a lot of people are saying, ‘Get a grip. Wake up and smell the coffee. It’s never going to happen’.

“Listen, believe you me, I have the capabilities. I know that, and I will not stop.

“I will beat CB Dollaway. I will climb that mountain.

“I will get to the top, again, and hopefully one day I will get my shot.

“And I can guarantee one thing when I do get my shot - I won’t fail my drug test for steroids.

“That’s a fact.”

Bisping is now based in California but returns to Lancashire regularly to visit family.
