BEN Marshall looks likely to miss Blackburn Rovers’ Championship fixture at Cardiff City tomorrow as Gary Bowyer waits to assess the winger’s shoulder injury.

Marshall was forced off in the first half of Saturday’s 4-1 FA Cup triumph over Stoke City.

Matt Kilgallon picked up a knock against the Potters but was set to train today as Rovers prepare to make the journey down to south Wales.

David Dunn could also return to training after a calf problem, but Jason Lowe remains absent with a recurrence of the broken foot he sustained earlier in the season.

“Lowey is going to be out for a while, which is a blow,” Bowyer said.

“It’s a recurrence of his foot, the same problem he had where he missed seven weeks with a small fracture.

“Hopefully it’s weeks (rather than months) but we’ll just have to wait and see.

“Marshy went to hospital after Saturday, there was nothing broken or dislocated but I think it will be another 48 hours before that settles down and we can make a proper assessment.

“David Dunn should be back out on the grass today and that should be us touch wood with the injuries.”
