I AM happy with the FA Cup draw – now I would like to see three times the amount of people who turned up on Saturday.

And if we’re going to get a crowd of 17,000 against Stoke the club are going to need to help out the supporters a little bit more. Saturday’s attendance against Swansea was disappointing, there’s no doubt about it.

But you can’t forget that football is an expensive business nowadays and that January is a bad, bad month for everyone concerned financially as Christmas is still being paid for.

Now I know Blackburn offer some of the cheapest season tickets around.

But I think Saturday showed they may need to help the fans more if the Stoke game is also shown live on TV because we don’t want a similar crowd again.

The club have sold more than 10,000 season tickets so they’ve got to ask why the majority of them didn’t turn up against Swansea.

I’ve always thought that if you get a season ticket you should get a voucher allowing you in to one game in the League Cup and one game in the FA Cup.

Whether Blackburn can do something like that for Stoke, I’m not sure, but it would be fantastic to see Ewood a lot busier than it was against Swansea.

We got a massive slice of luck when they had a man sent off after six minutes but we upped our game and we are going to have to do the same again in the fifth round against Stoke.

But if we can do that then there is a real chance we could go on again because the draw has really opened with so many big teams already out of the running.

Saturday’s game changed when they had their first man sent off but they could not say they were not warned because it was clear the tactic was to play the ball over the top to Josh King.

Josh did well but I thought Shane Duffy was magnificent and Rudy Gestede looked the hungriest that I’ve seen him.
