BURNLEY’S FA Cup third round tie at home to Tottenham Hotspur will take place on Monday, January 5 at 7.45pm.
The two clubs have opted to switch the game from the original Saturday afternoon slot because of Premier League fixtures just two days earlier on New Year's Day.
The match could not take place on Sunday because of policing and stewarding issues.
Accrington Stanley will potentially face Manchester United that afternoon if they win at Yeovil Town tonight.
Burnley's game is not live on television.
