COACHES from East Lancashire’s rugby union clubs are invited to attend the latest Lancashire RFU Summer Development Course.
The course will be held at Fylde RUFC on Saturda and will give valuable advice on several areas of the game led by top rugby union coaches.
Registration is 9.30am with a ‘managing the breakdown’ masterclass to be begin at 10am.
It will be led by Dave Wilkes, former England Counties, Nottingham and Sale Sharks Academy Coach.
RFU referee Andy Taylorson will then hold a session entitled working with the referee from 11.45am.
After lunch, Warren Spragg, who played for Calvisano in Italy and host club Fylde, will oversee developing skill and speed through practice at 1.15pm And the day concludes when former Wales outside half, Paul Turner, who was also head coach at Gwent Dragons and Sale Sharks will head up session on developing an attacking game at 2.30pm.
