BLACKBURN Rovers U21s will go into their final pre-season friendly at Padiham this Saturday (3pm) on the back of a 2-2 draw at Workington last night.

For the second match running Jordan Preston and Jordan Slew were on target for Eric Kinder’s side.

But unlike in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at Penrith it was Rovers who let a two-goal lead slip.

Rovers U18s, meanwhile, went down 3-1 at Bala Town.

Matty Platt scored a consolation for David Lowe’s side who will kick off their U18s Premier League season against Manchester City at Brockhall on Saturday, August 16 (11am).
