Do not be too hard on GB for signing young Alex as he will remember the lad as a great prospect. He is tall and strong and GB will recall that he was fast and a good tackler with all the other required skills. Sadly like so many young and promising players a serious and career threatening injury kept him out for over twelve months. Sadly he has been unable to recover his previous standard.
Personally I would like to wish young Alex all the best and will watch his career closely and sincerely hope he can get back to something like his previous standard.

I am sure you understand why Marrow left. He failed to make a 147 break despite having been at the club for a whole year!

"Seagull" the clueless football pundit.

To be fair Marrow was so far out of his depth. I don't even think he will be able to do much in league 2. Poor footballer I'm afraid.

He left because he had an epiphany. It suddenly dawned on him that his career was rotting away behind the scenes so decided to leave and probably in doing so trousered a nice tidy sum for the remainder of his contract. "left by mutual agreement " that's a phrase that's being heard quite a lot at the theatre of car crashes recently. LEFT BY MUTUAL AGREEMENT = MASSIVE PAY OFF.
Another lump sum out of the empty piggy bank of the worst run football club since Portsmouth.
And as a Blackburn fan the word clueless is one that you will be all too familiar with. And that is apparent in abundance by the fact your club gave this "poor footballer" the length of contract they did.

Clueless classless joke of a club, from top to bottom.

Roll on 1st January 2015. The day you get shown up for exactly what you are.

The harsh reality for you "FFP WONT APPLY TO US" deluded dreamers is that it will be a very long time, years even, before you spend that much on a player.
And before you throw back that utter hogwash about the Venkys being billionaires and they could wipe off all your debts blah blah blah, we both know that they have no intention of splashing significant amounts of capital on what quite frankly is a dead horse....or more appropriately dead zebra. They would have done that already if they had any interest whatsoever. They would attend more matches if they had any interest, tge would converse directly with the fans if they had any interest.

Carry on thinking that nothing is going to happen to you. It will only make the moment sweeter when those three letters, FFP, explode over you like an atom bomb.

He's got a comparable goal scoring record to our new striker who also played at Bolton.

'Roll on 1st January 2015. The day you get shown up for exactly what you are.'

Please elaborate on this comment... Do the mountains crumble to the ground, volcanoes erupt, the world goes to war on this very day??

Or, do we 'possibly' get a transfer embargo, where we have secured long contracts for our best players? Remembering too that we can offer new contracts to players....

Not sure whether it was Kean's sheer stupidity or Venky's delusion when they first came to the club spouting the Champions League football in 4 years nonsense. How many football clueless new owners have grandly announced ridiculous claims of guaranteed succes when first taking over a club ?
That rang the alarm bells for me straight away so the balls up and chaos that followed was sadly not surprising., but still painful
Its easy to blame the venky's and forget that under the walker trust it was getting harder and harder for Rovers to compete in the Premier League and relegation was becoming more likely with each season.
We are recovering now , the atmosphere is positive and with GB we have the right man for Rovers to have a realistic shout of the top 6 this season, Lets see what happens even with FFP looming, though the expected immediate demise of Rovers by our Claret friends is more in hope than expectation

And before you throw back that utter hogwash about the Venkys being billionaires and they could wipe off all your debts blah blah blah, we both know that they have no intention of splashing significant amounts of capital on what quite frankly is a dead horse....or more appropriately dead zebra. 3 years of chaos directly attributable to the people Venkys chose to advise them. Their expensive mistakes and unusual dealings are still being paid for.

In the last 12 months things have stabilised under a new, albeit not perfect, regime and the majority of the discussion is about the players and what happens on the pitch, rather than the owners and back room turmoil .

This is how it should be, and although the recent past will never be forgiven, or forgotten, we have a basis on which we can move forward.

LOL @ the no-dad's thinking it's simply a case of serve the transfer ban and it's done with!

The transfer embargo is neither here nor there, the required reduction in wage bill and accounting for the £8m deficit in parachute payments leaves you having to cover an estimated £25m wage bill, £8m loss in parachute payments and a further hilarious £3.5m loss from the cancelling of 3 players contracts, add to that the contract pay-off to Marrow and Best which will be £1.5m and all of a sudden you're looking at horrific figures in the loss column once again, highly likely to be even worse than last season as the contract playoffs have negated any saving to the overall wage expenditure. What a shambles!

Face facts, FFP is going to tear a great big hole in Blackburn Rovers and the more you deny it the more painful it's going to be when your obscene accounts are made public in December.

Your club is in turmoil and heading in one direction..... League one.

So then Billy (no mates)... Where do you get your figures from? The answer is you don't, you have not got the foggiest clue about our financial situation, who is getting paid what, but somehow convince yourself you do know what you are on about! Such a retard! One that believes his own idiotic hype too.

Keep telling us about FFP if you want, we actually understand that it means nothing now we have our players, then in a season or so when we have got our finances in place there will be no embargo in place... That's if we don't get a promotion this year too! With the squad we have, we should be promoted this year, which will only stabilise the bank balances faster.

Burnley get promoted however, well done to you too, but your board spends next to nothing on players... Are they even going to bring your ground out of the 1920s? Doubt it! Nope, they line their pockets with the majority of the 120m, tear you all a new ar$ehole with season ticket prices to further line their pockets... Then watch you drop out the PL... Does anyone else have Déjà vu??? Hahahahahaha...

Like you say retard... You couldn't write this sh*t.... Rovers.1875
