Another sign of the positive change behind the scenes down at Ewood. Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure we've had instances in seasons of late where the home kit has been unavailable for purchase after the season has started - together with the fact we had no shirt sponsor!

I saw a leaked image of this kit earlier in the week, looks good with halves on sleeves and a darker trim round the neck and sleeves.

I've seen the 'leaked photos' of the new home kit too and there doesn't seem to be much difference from the current one. The navy trim on the collar and cuffs looks okay but I'm not so keen on the halved-sleeves, it makes the shirt look too 'busy'. It also says that the away kit will be turbo green (turquoise) with navy applications (trim?) so not so sure I'll be buying that now.

For those who haven't seen it yet, here's a link...

If that leaked photo is genuine it looks spot on. I thought the halves would've changed back to the other way around though?

If it's real I quite like it, and the possible away kit as well, although there isn't a lot of difference between the colours which is usually required.

I also think that there could be new sponsors, this is one way of getting more money into the club, possibly a subsidiary of Venky's?

But I will be happy enough for RFS to continue, they have done us proud in the dark times, they deserve a slice of the cake.

Pretty certain two new shirts will be finding their way into our home before the start of the season.

come on No-dad's....save the benifit cheques and buy the new kit, this way you might have something nice to get married in / appear in court in / get buried in. just a pity your children will have to go without for a few weeks just so you can obtain a shirt

If that leaked kit is correct, we could be going nearer to the old Cambridge blue that the club had in the 19th century.
Pleased with the halved sleeves. It will remind those of an older generation of the kit in the 1960s.

Blue and white halves! Now there's a surprise. Why all the hype every year about Rovers' new shirts? Everyone knows it's going to be blue and white halves. The only people who are bothered are knobs who are pre-occupied with stuff like who makes it, what little flashes will it have, how is the collar made etc. Grow up kids!

l may just be tempted to purchase this new shirt if l can afford it. When you look at the Rovers quality product compared to the dingles cheaper versions l would much rather pay 50 quid for ours than pay 25 for theirs. Nothing personal of course just fact. ARTE ET LABORE.
