THERE is still time to sign up and player rounders for a worthy cause.
Blackburn Community Sports Club will be holding a Rounder’s Rally at AFC Darwen’s WEC Anchor on Saturday.
Club Spokesman Sarah Harwood: “Don’t worry if you have never played for a while or haven’t tried rounders, there will be a free practice before the event and it will just be a fun, family day.
“Anyone who has a team of nine or more players and a catchy name can enter, but you must register before the event and mixed teams are welcome.”
Cost is £4 per player and £10 deposit per team.
Entry is free of charge for spectators.
Matches start at 10am and doors open at 9.15am.
A bar and refreshments will be available all day.
