Accrington Panthers 10 Latchford Albion 60 Accrington Panthers were unusually unprepared in their visit to a well drilled Latchford Albion side and paid the price.
The Panthers turned up with 15 players, to play on a very impressive Latchford pitch.
Accrington started the game very well with powerful drives by Thomas Gallagher, which was finished off excellently by Leon Fifield. In the first 15 minutes Accringtion picked up two injuries, which lead to prop Ross Brown spending 65 minutes on the wing. Latchford took full advantage and punished the tiring Panthers side for every error. Accrington Panthers U18s 20 Leyland Warriors 20 THE Panther’s fought out a draw in their local derby against Leyland.
Coach Mark Brindle had the opportunity to put out his strongest side of this current season, Including Will Holden who has just been selected to represent Scotland u19s.
Tough centre Connor McCarthy continued to find the line, with another hat-trick of tries.
