It was a good day to be an all-rounder and a good day for teams to chase in the Accrington and District Cricket League as all three teams chasing won their games.

Reigning league and cup champions, AFM Multan, were the first team to finish their game as they bowled Kashmir out for 83 on a “spicy” wicket.

Hat-rick hero Mo Sulliman (below) took the bowling honours (4-10), reducing Kashmir to 6-15 at one stage before they mounted a modest recovery. Veteran campaigner Mabz Hussain took the batting honours with an unbeaten 42 to go alongside bowling figures of 2-15, guiding Multan to a 6 wicket win. Irfan was Kashmir’s most successful bowler with 2-17 (Match Summary Kashmir 83 AO, AFM Multan 88-4).

Azzak CC bowled Mirpur CC out for a below par 117 with Mohammed Nadeem taking 4-20. Hussan Ashraf (63 not out) guided Azzak to a seven wicket victory as he put on 80 for the opening wicket partnership (match summary Mirpur 117 ao, Azzak 120-3) Pakistan CC managed to chase the highest score of the day as they balled Attock out for 165.

Amir (56) and Tauqeer (39) were the top scorers for Attock with Yasir from Pakistan CC taking the balling honours (4-29).

In their chase Pakistan CC were reduced to 30-5 but mounted a recovery through the batting of Zafir (76 not out) and Farooq (44 not out) as they got to their target with seven wickets down despite Attock baller Nadeem Shahs match effort of 4-15 with the ball (match summary Attock 165ao and Pakistan CC 166-7) Multan, Azzak and Pakistan CC remain undefeated this season with two wins a piece.
