The Easter holidays saw another fun and successful half-term soccer school run by Chorley Football Club.
Parents had the option of booking their children on to the school for single days or for three days. The 40 participating kids showed up to Victory Park each morning, looking forward to an action packed day with their new friends.
Each day, youngsters received training and help with their technical skills, penalty taking and other activities, including playing small sided football matches. On the last day Chorley FC striker James Dean presented certificates.
Chorley FC midfielder Jamie Vermiglio, who oversaw the sessions, said: “It’s great to give something back to the community and help children learn about the game.
Chairman Ken Wright said: “It’s been a fantastic few days and I’d like to thank all the children that took part. These are hopefully future fans of the club and it can only stand us in good stead in years to come.
