Clitheroe’s Sam Murray finished 29th in a World Cup meeting in China.
Murray, 24, was 16th after the fencing before she clocked the quickest swim time with a 200m freestyle time of 2 minutes 11 seconds lifting her to eighth.
She then went clear in the ride, but sustained eight time penalties putting her fifth going into the run/shoot but she faltered and ended 29th.
