IT’S the time of year again to vote for Blackburn Rovers’ Goal of the Season.

The winner of the competition, run by the club in conjunction with the Lancashire Telegraph, will be presented with the Peter White Memorial Trophy ahead of the final home game against Wigan on Saturday, May 3.

David Dunn won last year’s award for his injury-time equaliser against Burnley at Ewood Park.

But which of these 12 goals to remember will win the most votes?

After Barnsley were reduced to 10-men home debutant Cairney smashed the resulting free kick into the top corner.

David Dunn v Bolton
After Josh King crossed Dunn showed sublime skill to fool three Bolton defenders before coolly sweeping the ball home.

Corry Evans v Bolton
A cross was cleared by the Bolton defence but only as far as Evans, who unleashed an unstoppable 20-yard volley into the top corner.

Jason Lowe v Middlesborough
Lowe’s first goal for the club was one to remember as he powered a 25-yard rocket into the top left corner to settle the contest.

Neat build up ended with David Dunn squaring to Rhodes who took a touch before bending the ball into the top corner

Ben Marshall v Nottm For
Tom Cairney played a pass inside to Marshall who, from the edge of the box, curled a superb effort into the top corner.

After good work from David Dunn and Rudy Gestede the ball sat up perfectly for Tom Cairney, who lashed home.

David Dunn v Blackpool
Tom Cairney found Dunn 40 yards from goal and he ran at the Blackpool defence before sending a left-footed shot into the corner.

Rudy Gestede v Watford
With just seconds left and Rovers losing, Matt Kilgallon launched a ball into the box and Gestede rose to power in a header.

Jordan Rhodes v Ipswich
Rudy Gestede laid a precise pass into the path of Rhodes and his strike-partner did the rest with a crisp half-volley.

Tom Cairney played the ball to Gestede, who turned and beat Rob Green with an unstoppable low drive into the bottom corner.
