THE Blackburn Combination is calling on all clubs, players, coaches, referees or anybody interested in Saturday afternoon football. The league is actively looking for new blood for next season 2014/15. The Blackburn Combination is a highly competitive, well run competition for players over 16 years old with games generally taking place at Pleasington Playing Fields. The league also welcomes junior sides looking to step up to adult football.

“We already have several boys’ teams that have made that successful transition,” said league secretary Bill Markham.

“We also have veteran sides that are competing well due to roll on roll off substitutions.

“We can also find clubs for individual players and coaches who may want to join us. “And any referees who would like a regular game would be made most welcome.”

Any interested party should contact the Secretary Bill Markham on 01254 54486 mobile 07909 643527 or by email on wpmref@hotmail.com
