Eccles played host to Rossendale U14s, with Dale looking to avenge their defeat at Marl Pits.
The home side broke through in the eighth minute when they broke through the Dale defence.
Eccles ran in another try under the posts but Dale got a score on the board after Rhys Tighe took a quick penalty and barrelled over to score.
Ciaran Campbell converted to make the half-time score Eccles 10-7 Rossendale.
Hashim Khan scored Dale’s second try after the break.
